Sarrita’s father is highly regarded artist, William King Jungala and her she began painting after developing a strong interest in her father’s art. As a child, Sarrita was captivated by the patterns the lightning and rain made during the wet seasons and her paintings depict those patterns, which she calls, Lightning Dreaming.
