Ambah's interest in body ornamentation began as a young child watching her mother, a textile artist, creating wearable art. Ambah has since continued to explore many artistic mediums, including painting.

As a teenager during a visit to the USA, Ambah met airbrush artist, Star Shield. This was her first connection with the concept of body art, and it certainly made an impression. Soon after she spontaneously painted her friends faces for fun. This led to Ambah aquiring body art make up, and becoming increasingly inspired to persue this blossoming art form. She took up training with some of the leading Body Artists in the World, including Jinny (Canada), Nick and Brian Wolfe (USA and Mark Reid (USA).

In December 2007 Ambah was engaged to Bodypaint at Elements,Hong Kong for 2 weeks. This was a live performance with Ambah painting the models for the publics' entertainment.

Ambah’s diverse artistic experience includes painting and living in Outback Australia with Indigenous Artists. These experiences deepened Ambah’s interest in all types of communities and a theme that is is reflected in her painting concepts.

Ambah has held solo and group exhibitions and receives commissions for her work. She enjoys craft and makes jewlery for sale online and in shops. She also creates headpieces and props for her Body Paintings.

Ambah has Body Painted for Festivals and Corporate Events throughout Australia and Internationally in Hong Kong and the USA. She also runs body painting workshops through Australia and in the USA at FABAIC (Face and Body Art Convention 2009).
