About The Artist : Josephine Josephsen

Josephine’s background in architecture and interior design – holding a degree in design and working as an architectural illustrator fro 15 years – her appreciation for architectural detail; knowledge of prespective, and eye for color and pattern – are obvious in her paintings.

Jospehine had painted with a number of art groups,: The Royal Art Society, Ku-Ring-Gai Society, Ryde Art Society, The Society of Blue Mountains – participating inworkshops and exhibitions. She has received ‘commended’ and ‘highly commended’ awards and ha sold works through these exhibitions. She has also sold privately and currently through galleries in the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and Hawesbury areas and at art shows in Brisbane and Hunters Hill.
