About The Artist : Martin Christmas 

Born in England, Martin moved to Australia in 1988 to seek his fortune, spending his first few years in Melbourne before moving to Sydney within the IT industry. Painting for Martin is a form of relaxation and expression; he is currently a student at the Northshore School of Art.

“Manly Wave” is quintessentially Australian, the blue is reminiscent of his beloved Chelsea football team, with its power and majesty, although he claims the crash afterwards has nothing to do with their performance.
