Adam Stewart
Actor (Dee Why, NSW)
Dee
Why actor Adam Stewart co-founded Point Break Drama with fellow actor
Paul Winchester in 2002. Point Break offer a variety of acting classes
based on the
Stanislavsky
method, designed for both teenages and adults.
Adam
received his training at Nepean College, which he says was known for
its diverse curriculum, embracing all areas of the drama experience
from costuming and lighting to set design and construction. He
has done film as well as stage acting and says both have their unique
challenges, although he would like to work on a big budget film which
allows the luxury of multiple takes and has the potential to reach more
people.
Adam
has performed in several theatre productions with Theatre Nepean including
Wounds to the Face (directed by Jill Brown), Antony &
Cleopatra (directed by Aame Neeme), Don's Party (directed
by Anna Volska) and Comedy of Errors (directed by Terence Crawford).
He
has also featured in commericals and short film productions including
Shove People (directed by Stephen Anderton) and Life's A Bitch
(directed by Lenny Kovner).
