Alexia
has a strong background as an actor and is also experienced as a producer,
dancer, singer and voice over. She has trained extensively in acting,
having studied in Australia and New Zealand with groups such as The
Australian Theatre for Young People, Christchurch Drama School, The
Actors Centre and Darlinghurst Drama School. Alexia has also studied
singing with Australian Youth Choir and Tony Backhouse's Acappella Ensemble,
and dance with Bodenweiser Dance School and Beryl Hatherley Schoot of
Ballet (Christchurch).
She
has acted on stage with various Theatre productions, and appeared in
several television dramas and commercials. Her theatre performances
include The Real Thing (Factory Space Theatre), SOS (The Edge Theatre),
On the Road to Gundagai (The Seymour Centre) and Pippi Longstocking
(Christchurch New Zealand), amongst many others.
Her
film credits include HIT (directed by Clayton Moss), The
Last Day of School (directed by David Olde) and Blackrock (directed
by David Elfick). She has also appeared on television productions including
Around The World with Joy (Channel 31), Wildside (Gannon Jenkins Television)
and Nickelodeon (Foxtel).
