Dominic Witkop
Actor (Glebe NSW)

Dominic Witkop studied at Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) for approximately five years where he undertook numerous film and theatre workshops. During this time he performed in his first play, Beatrice by Louie Nowra,. The play was part of ATYP's 40th anniversary celebrations. Dominic has also performed in other ATYP productions over the years, the last being Kaleidescope a physical performance which was part of the opening ceremony for the Oxfam International Youth Partnership Congress 2007.

From January 2008 Dominic studied at The Ensemble Studios, graduating in June 2009. He participated/performed in various student productions including Crimes of the Heart, Loyalties and the Graduation performance.

On graduating he performed at the Bondi Pavillion in Cohabitation: Bondi, an After Party Production written and directed by Jane Malone.

In 2010 he participated in two short plays for the Short+Sweet Festival, The Sandbox by Edward Albee and The Joy of Id by Craig Delahoy. He has also participated in several short films.

He enjoys playing comedic roles, however he is interested in challenging, dramatic or dark roles, and is not afraid of expressing himself or going into places that are uncomfortable for some.
