Eliana Dona
Actor & Make-up Artist (Sydney)

Eliana was born in Venezuela and came to Australia in 1982 at the age of 8. She speaks fluent Arabic and semi-fluent Spanish. Besides being a professional actor, she is also a professional Make-up Artist and professional Archer and Rifle Shooter. Other creative interests include painting, drawing and photography.

Eliana started acting on stage in many leading roles when she was in her teens through to her early 20's. She was accepted into NIDA & Sydney University at the same time, and chose University over acting to study science!

After spending several years working in various industrys including Real Estate, and as a Wedding co-ordinator and Make-up artist, Eliana finally realised her colourful CV meant she still wanted to be an actor. Acting is her true passion, so with that in mind she decided to pursue film and TV work. She studied Practical Aesthetics with Melissa Bruder from The Atlantic Theatre New York, The Meisner technique with Jose Element from The Playhouse New York, and several short courses and workshops at the Actors Centre and the Actors Studio with Tim Robbins.

Eliana has had roles in feature films such as “Moulin Rouge”, “Something About AJ” and “Star Wars Episode II”. She attended several conventions for Star Wars as a 'special guest' for autograph signings and gave talks about her acting experience to fans.

She has also had 2 guest appearances on “CNNNN”, All Saints and WaterRats, the lead in TVC's for Kit Kat Bites, Hoyts, avocadoes, Lotto, Burger King, Mobile 3 and has appearred in many Corporate Videos and short films. Eliana has also been involved in photographic shoots for NSW Tourism, Australia Post, Hyundai and many many more!
