Josh studied at the Performing Arts School in Ballarat,
and from there went on to perform sketch comedy with his own group "The
Six", which won the Melbourne Fringe Comedy award in 2001. He has
been performing sketch comedy for the last 4 years and has extensive
experience in character work, most notably at Draculas where Josh
created and performed one of the most successful and vibrant characters
Draculas has ever seen, the eccentric but lovable Syst.
Stage credits include The 5th Dementia, Romeo
and Juliet for Neolith Productions, Twelfth Night
for Green Cyc Productions, Total Entertainment for Baby
Banksia Productions and Disconnected for Screenplay.
He has also had a guest role in Stingers and
has worked as a voice over artist for the last 2 years. Short film credits
include Tony in The Referees directed by Katrina
Mathers, (2003 Tropfest Finalist) and Billy in Little
Noel Wants to Fly directed by Nathene Valamanesh. He has also
written a short film Cut Out. Josh solely edited all three
episodes of the Backwards Front and directed the majority of the material.
He also works as an independent film maker, editor and sound engineer.
