My direction in picture making has been inspired and influenced by abstract painters such as Cezanne and Kandinsky as well as the architect Mies van de Rohe. The patterns and forms of the natural world  will continue to provide a limitless source material.  

I have worked as a freelance graphics presentation artist in the Town Planning, Architectural, Real Estate and Landscaping sectors since 1996 under the business name of Colourfill. Projects included hand and digitally coloured rendering of plans, photo montage perspectives, design of  advertisements, flyers and brochures for publication, sign boards & illustrations.  

Current Work in Progress:
Pictorial compositions from the imagination - either hand drawn or digitally formed. They are solely the interplay of colour, tone, line, form, pattern and texture - devoid of any literal meaning or messages. Their creation could be described as a performance art - guided by pre-set principles - a journey of exploration with unexpected outcomes. Hopefully they will provide  the same source of meditation and  enjoyment  for the viewer as they have for their  maker.
