DJ & Performance Artist (Northern Beaches, NSW)

Jarrod Allan is a performance artist and DJ who combines beatbox rapping with physical theatre and comedy. His solo show, Jarrodism, combines jazz and techno samples with dance and spoken word. The result is a musical dance landscape with original words and verse, fronted by an energetic performance by Jarrod in colourful stagewear and tongue in cheek humour directed at his otherwise contemporary DJ peers who are "too cool for school".

Jarrod Allen used to front northern beaches heavy rock band 'Slab', who incorporated a similar visual element in their show. He has performed several gigs under his new act 'Jarrodism', most recently supporting northern beaches band 'Erratic' and 'Endorphin' at Harbord Diggers Club. He also performs his solo act with ANBOPA, Association of Northern Beaches Original Performing Artists.
