Lolita
Bullimore "The Tea Gardens Collection"
Fashion Designer
(Northern Beaches, NSW)
A chic fusion of grunge and elegant beauty, creating
a contemporary look of ‘Polished Disarray’. Featuring
corsetry and bustle details, deconstructed trims and unfinished edges,
frayed antique glamour
is offset by a vivid colour palette. Wear it day, wear it night, wear
it to bed – whatever!
After graduating from the Design and Arts College
of New Zealand, Lolita presented her first range of limited edition
bespoke tailoring,
race wear and millinery. She then moved to London, travelling and working
to expand her career. During this time, she worked as an assistant
designer for Wonderful Wraps, showing at London Fashion Week, and established
the men’s and women’s wear label ‘Techno Hippie Children’ which
has been stocked at the Pickle shop in Camden. She also travelled to
Paris to participate in the Premiere Vision and Mod’Amont textile
trade shows.
Lolita’s unique and directional style is clearly influenced
by her international experience. Her label previously stocked in various
boutiques throughout New Zealand and in her own store, ‘Eugene’.
The latest Lolita collection, Tea Gardens, will be launched at the
F.ROCK fashion parade in Manly in September 2006.
