Self-taught costume maker and seamstress, Becky Horton started making clothes and dresses by hand from age 8. This had been a past-time for years but she had been interested in fashion shows and modelling.

The chance for her to put all these out there in the community is when she started to coordinate the "Catwalk & Design" competition for Thank You Australia Incorporated, a non-profit community association of multicultural groups.

'Catwalk & Design' is a yearly event that started in Campbelltown Stadium and this year will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Centrepoint Convention Centre in Sydney on 15th October 2005. The event will highlight "Thank You Week" 9-15th October.

She is also runs a fashion service on the side under the banner of Kambal Fashion Services that offer dressmaking and fashion coordination.

She is also the President of the Association of Filipino-Australian Fashion Enthusiasts that aims to link fashion design and modelling industry players between Australia and the Philippines.
