Shepard
designs and crafts exotic furniture and functional art. His workshop
and studio, Elegantly Bent, is based in Narrabeen on the northern beaches
in Sydney.
Shepard
has an extensive background in set building, working in film and television
and was a production manager with the premier special events company
in Sydney for a number of years (David Grant Special Events).
Shepard
first conceived Elegantly Bent in the early 90's to provide quality
functional metal art. He has designed and crafted peices in Australia
and America with the intention of providing a custom, hand crafted alternative
to mass produced metal work.
Shepard
has produced peices for architechs and designers, and is also available
for commissioned works.
