Mini Graff
Street / Installation Artist (Sydney, NSW)
Graff produces street art and installations inspired by her formal
training and motivated by her determination to extend the common perception
of 'street art'.
She is currently extending street art from its foundation in surface
design and ornamentation into light experiments on Sydney city streets,
feeding off her fascination with the shifting light of the urban environment.
The What of Butterflies project (pictured here, top right) is typical
of her explorations of a site - ephemeral in nature - often not lasting
longer than the opportunity to be photographed or the light to change.
Below are two Urban Window examples. Darlinghurst residents were given
artwork and encouraged to display it in their street fronting windows.
Mini's thematic exhibitions draw upon a wide range of cultural and
creative influences, including urban artists Psalm, Asbestos and WK
Interact and legendary conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp.
