Alissa Stytsenko

Alissa Stytsenko was born in 1981 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Growing up in a family of artists, she was encouraged to explore her creativity from a very young age.

In 2001 Alissa moved to New Zealand, where she received her Bachelor of Art and Design (Fashion Design) and a vast experience working in fashion industry. Throughout her career she has leaned towards Fashion Graphics – Illustration, Branding, Textiles. And it’s only natural that in 2006 in collaboration with her husband Mark, Alissa opened a design studio which is entirely dedicated to Fashion - called VDNA Fashion Design ‘N’ Art Studio.

1. A design studio based in central Melbourne (Australia) with global ambitions. Our creative flow spreads all over 4 continents.
2. A graphic, web, textile and art studio dedicated entirely to Fashion and its’ ever-changing character. VDNA is a core element of contemporary graphics. A solid knowledge of all aspects of Fashion design and Production procedures makes VDNA an ultimate provider of creative and professional services to the Apparel & Accessories industry.
3. A team of creative people with lifelong passion for Fashion and Graphics.

VDNA Studio is a group of artists based in various parts of the world, united by the love for all things beautiful and an urge to apply their professionalism in creative fashion projects. Being located worldwide gives us a valuable advantage of accessing & sharing instant information and allows us to constantly stay on pulse of current and emerging trends. Designers of various nationalities and lifestyles bring unique flavors & versatility to VDNA Studio.

The heart and driving force of the studio is based in Docklands on the shores of Yarra River in the centre of a stylish and fashionable Melbourne.

Being original and artistic is the main focus of VDNA. At the same time years of experience in commercial fashion industry keeps our feet firmly on the ground, making our work competitive in the business of fashion. We totally realize that art & design is a flight of a soul, but commercial thinking and logical merchandising is what gives a value to a finished product.
