Ali J
lllustrator (Perth, WA)

Ali J is an artist and illustrator residing in Perth.  Her works are often character based with a strong sense of fashion, a modern style, and a vibrant colour palette.  She has completed a Certficate of Interior Decoration, a Diploma of Fine Art and is currently in the process of completing her Advanced Diploma of Fine Art (2009).

When creating Ali J enjoys working in a wide range of mediums including markers, inks, graphite, charcoal, coloured pencils, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, chalk and much more.  Her works are often created by hand and on occasion will be added to digitally.

Ali J has worked for a wide variety of clients including Oxford University Press, Jem Sportswear, Creative Commons, Sony/BMG and Thread Magazine.  Her experience includes CD covers & layouts, book design (flap jackets & cover spreads), packaging design, illustrated logos, character design, invitations and much more.
