Shane Nagle

Shane began his career as a graphic designer, graduating from Swinburne University in 1986. By the early 1990's a love of illustrating became Shane's full time pursuit.

Early career highlights for Shane included being published by major Australian magazines and Time, Rolling Stone, Business Review Weekly and Panorama as well as an international magazine.

He has done several private and corporate commissions, and has exhibited his drawings at the International Rock Art Symposium, Capo Di Ponte, Brescia Italy.

His work has been published in various children's books, including two for Allen & Unwin - 'Pumped Up!' and 'The Way of the Birds', as well as a very personal expression found in the illustration of 'We the Earth'.

After a year spent travelling and living in Ireland, and inspired by the birth of his daughter, Shane focused on his love of children's book illustrations and began stumbling towards becoming a writer.

Shane is interested in connecting with other illustrators, childrens authors and writers in general.
