Manjia is an international violinist and composer who performs in a passionate, elegant, ballerina style. Originally from China, she was born in Guangzhou, and grew up in Beijing. Classically trained, Manjia started playing violin as a child, and now performs at events in Australia and overseas.
Manjia is also a dancer, a poet and an intuitive photographer. Her love of art and nature inspires her music, which has strong healing effect. Manjia's album "Sleeping Beauty", with the simple purity of crystal sound and gentle strings, brings transcending energy into home environment.The tranquil melodies help manifest the subconscious through imagination. The characteristics of the melodies are well suited for infants, pregnant women, the elderly, meditation / yoga practitioners, and people who are recovering. It also can be as soft-fitness and slow dancing music.
Her newly completed DVD “Nature’s Romance” (2008) features Australian top relaxation music and environmental nature.
Her elegant and unique style of music have touched the audiences worldwide, often bringing tears of joy. The DVD is directed by Christopher R. Collins; Martin Guinness. Music composed by international relaxation music guru Ken Davis, Stewart Dudley, Fiona J. Hawkins, and Manjia herself. The DVD is an collective intellegence and original art work, full of romantic touching and nature’s beauty and inspiration. The DVD is partly sponsored by Ken Davis Music International.
In 2008 Manjia was the recipient of Australia-China Council Funding 2008 for performance and exhibition in China, and will travel to China to perform “The Earth and Life – Environment Music Concert / Visual Exhibition” at universities in Guangzhou and Beijijng from May to June 2008. Manjia will visit South China Agricultural University, South China Normal University, and Beijing Forest University.
