Glenise
Clelland Visual Artist (Noosa,
QLD)
Glenise is a graduate
from Brisbane College of Art and has exhibited in major galleries since the 1970's.
She is a figurative artist working mainly in oils, acrylics
and mixed media and enjoy explorations in colour and texture. She has had numerous
solo exhibitions and won a number of awards for painting and drawing. Her paintings
have also been selected for entry in prestigious art exhibitions such as The Tattersalls
Landscape art award. Glenise's paintings are held in corporate,
government and private collections around Australia and overseas. She has attended
numerous workshops with excellent tutors such as Elizabeth Cummings, Rod Millgate,
Irene Amos, Margaret Woodward and Bill Brown to name a few. Glenise
now resides part of the year in Noosa and in Cooktown and enjoys traveling and
exploring the Australian landscape. Accolades include the Ian Fairweather Memorial
Prize: Caloundra Art Show, Moreton Council Art Prize: plus prizes at other shows.
She is currently exhibiting at major art galleries in Queensland
