Abstract & Impressionist Painter (Bondi Beach, NSW)

"Painting is my tool, which enables me to share my moods through colour. The artistic process for me is an ongoing study of ideas and feelings. I am drawn to expressing myself through abstract and impressionist styles of painting," Inna Moshkovich.

Inna's works range from impressionist to abstract pieces and are bursting with life. The artist arrived with family in Sydney in 1989. She had to build a life from scratch. Art as never before became a source of emotional support and self-discovery, a world within itself with no language barriers.

“Using colour came to me suddenly and felt more natural than using words in speech or writing. The shades of colour help to tell volumes of my soul’s state. Unlike words, colour can’t be misinterpreted. Each stroke is an opportunity for me to express my thoughts and feelings. I want to share my impressions of the surrounding world through experimenting with composition and colour. Using a palette knife in combination with brush strokes, I am trying to find my place in the rainbow of colour. "

Exhibition History:

Feb 2002 - Memories Of Europe - Waverley Library, Bondi Junction ,Sydney.It was inspired by the artist’s travels in the South of France and Italy, during the European summer.

Feb 2003 - Thesis of Emotion was held at the Bondi Beach Pavilion, at Sydney. Thesis of Emotion was held at the Bondi Beach Pavilion, at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.This time Inna experimented with stills, landscapes and water forms.

Dec 2003 - Life’s Colour Wheel Café –Gallery 249, Surry Hills,Sydney. Here Inna experimented with the play of light and the effects such play has on colour combinations.

Nov 2004 to Jan 2005 - Colourful Silhouettes exhibition Buena Vista cafe -bar, Level 14 Supreme Law Courts Building, 184 Phillip st, Sydney.

Feb 2005 - Inna’s Colourful Silhouettes II exhibition delighted visitors of the Arthouse Hotel, 275 Pitt Street Sydney.

July 14 - Aug14 2005 - Inna’s new works exhibited at the opening of Art Moment Gallery, 99 Curlewis st in the heart of Bondi Beach.

Inna runs Art Moment Gallery, with an aim to give a glimpse into a different culture with each of its exhibitions and showcase a variety of emerging and established artistic talent.
