Jacqueline Lamb
Painter (Mosman NSW)
Jacqueline was born in Melbourne Victoria, and commenced painting at the early age of 11. For a period of four years she received private tuition from a local Melbourne artist and continued her art studies at Frankston Technical College before moving to Sydney with her family in the 1980’s. It was also during this period that she exhibited in many local exhibitions, selling paintings and winning local awards.
Jacqueline has focused mostly on painting commissions and continuing her art education studying at the School of Colour and Design and short courses at the National Art School in Sydney. Since 2004 Jacqueline has been actively participating in local art exhibitions and group shows. More recently, Jacqueline won “Viewers Choice” at the Lane Cove Art Awards. Jacqueline has always maintained her creativity and passion by continuing to paint, study, learning new techniques and experimenting with different mediums acquired from various art institutions and whilst working with other artists.
Jacqueline is currently preparing a new body of work for her next exhibition in 2010 called “Cockatoo In Time”. You are welcome to visit her online gallery.
