Michael Knight is a professional artist who strives to create evocative and meaningful bodies of work: choosing to explore varied themes and creative styles throughout his career as he expands his skills and absorbs new experiences. Each exhibition Knight undertakes offers viewers a fresh perspective and an individual interpretation of life without losing the vibrancy and sense of colour that has become his signature.

Born and educated in Perth, Knight completed a BA in Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia before accepting an Arthur Boyd Scholarship at Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney. This traditional training, regular drawing practice, and extensive travelling to view art throughout the world provides a solid framework of skills and knowledge that underpins all Knights creative work.
