Pete loves to have a paintbrush in his hand.   He is mostly self taught and is inspired by the world around him. His paintings are full of colour and joy and are bound to bring a smile to your face. Pete and his partner David have their own studio / gallery on the edge of Daylesford in gorgeous Muskvale.Their surprisingly violet gallery [a converted 1860s miners shack] sits at the front of their lovely property. Through the leadlight windows you capture views of ancient fruit trees ... funky chook houses ... and very glamorous silky chooks....

Pete works mostly in acrylics and water colours. Cats, chooks, people and views of Daylesford and other funky towns feature strongly in Pete's work. Nursery rhymes are often given another slant with a fresh fun style. The best way to enjoy Pete's work is to visit the studio or the boy's website. Look forward to meeting you.

Pete's work is currently being featured as the front cover of the Chill Out Festival Booklet. Pete's fun take on American Gothic is the official artwork for Chill Out 2008, a wonderful Daylesford festival.

Pete has had solo exhibitions at the Bayleaf in Apollo Bay... Artisans Alley Albert Park... Rhubarb Cafe Daylesford. He has also sold work at the Swiss Italian fest art exhibition. Petes work is currently available at Celadon Daylesford, Flying Fishes in Lorne and of course at the gallery at 2588 Daylesford-Ballan Road Muskvale.

Pete and Davids beautiful greeting cards are available at many outlets and on their website. Pete's work has been featured in many national magazines including House and Garden, Belle, Vogue and Inside Out magazine.
