Sandra Kiris
Painter (Sydney NSW)
The art of Sandra Kiris explores the inner world of chance, enigma and intuition. Her dream like paintings reveal an interplay of the conscious and the unconscious worlds, parallel universes that come together to express the mystical nature of existence. Her semi abstract landscapes are mysterious and dream like, the surface externals dissolving and hinting at a deeper reality.
Sandra’s large abstract pen drawings are an intricate maze of free flowing lines that have an anarchic will of their own. They draw on both eastern and western philosophy with the symbolic use of the circle. The lines find wholeness and unity in the circle. These mandalas represent the cosmos and its relation to divine powers.
Sandra Kiris has had a long association with the visual arts through her practice and being an art teacher. She is now a full time practicing artist.
