Ted
Blackall is a multi-disciplined artist with a background in visual arts:
painting, illustration and storyboard development.
Ted
is an exhibiting member of the Royal Art Society. He has exhibited and
sold paintings through The Bridge Street Gallery, Baronia Art Gallery,
Prontos Gallery, Castle Gallery, Arden Gallery, Excelsior Gallery,
Raglan Galleries, Patonga Gallery, Lasting Impressions, Ansett Golden
Wing Lounges, The Blaxland Gallery, 1982 Australian Artistss,
The Private Gallery, Holdsworth Gallery, three Mosman Art Prizes, various
Royal Art Society genre Exhibitions and Artlink Australia.
Commission
clients include the International Olympic Committee, Moet Chandon, Kaiser
Stuhl, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Westpac, Victorian College of Pharmacy,
Bond Corporation, Kumagai Australia, Northern Territory Tourist Commission
and others.
Prizes
include The Normans Art Prize, First prize - Royal Show, First
Prize - Liverpool City Council, Highly Commended - North Sydney Art
Prize and Very Highly Commended - Drummoyne Municipal Art Society.
Ted
studied painting under William Frater at the Royal Melbourne Institute
of Technology, and later under Joshua Smith. Teds
paintings hang in many private collections across the country. He has
taught at the Julian Ashton School and Sturt University Summer School
and acts as a colour and design consultant to many of Australias
major corporations.
