Vanessa Miller

I was born in Durban, South Africa in 1968. When I finished school, art was not considered to be something you did that put food on the table, so enrolling in a business degree was the sensible option taken.

After living in London for four years, I moved to Samford Valley, Queensland in 1995 where I still live with my family. I have a full time corporate job, however art and horses are my passion, and I make time to paint for friends, family and for my own enjoyment.

I like to work with acrylic paint because of its fast drying properties and versatility. I'm guided by my life motto, "give the people what they want". I find it works for everything, husbands, babies, clients...!

I think art speaks for itself and if it is enjoyable to look at, it works.
