Every detail in our family albums represent our own personal ghosts. The physical details of the printed snap are conjurers too- the folds left on the print from spending years in the same frame, the bleeding edges of Biro-written dates in your Mum's handwriting are as much a part of the frozen memory as the old Sao jar with its pop-top or your brother's racing car jarmies."
