Karen Tenni

Karen is an innovative photographer hailing from Adelaide SA. Born and raised in Cairns, Karen held various roles in hospitality and marketing roles, and relocated to Adelaide in 2001 to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts, specialising in Photography, at the University of South Australia School of Art.

Karen has exhibited her work extensively throughout Adelaide and South Australia, including SEAS Gallery (Adelaide), Equinox Ngapartji Ngapartji Gallery (Adelaide), South Coast Regional Arts Centre (Goolwa, SA) and Penneshaw Easter Art Exhibition (Kangaroo Island).

Since 1999, Karen has also received several awards for her photography, including runner up in 2004 Not Only Black + White/ M-one11 Student Photography Competition, 2003 Dean’s Merit List, 2002 Chancellor’s Merit List and 2001 Dean’s Merit List.
