Wood Sculpture (Northern Rivers, NSW)

Peter's creative background first surfaced when he used recycled timber to make furniture for sale at markets on the North Coast of New South Wales during the 80's & 90's.

Living on the Northern Rivers, Peter was inspired to use old fenceposts as another way of using recycled timber. This has been his main interest for many years and he finds great satisfaction from the creative design process.

All his work are are created from aged fenceposts collected from the NSW North Coast in Australia. They are hand rubbed and bees wax finished.

He founded Woodart from Fenceposts in 2002, inspired by the use of recycled wood as an art medium. His philosophy is to create original and unique works to a high artistic level.

The potential market for Peter's woodart are collectors of fine pieces. His work is well suited for display in a gallery or home environment, and will be appreciated by those who enjoy being surrounded by beautiful objects and the feelings emanating from them.
