Freelance Success provides training and support
for anyone working as a freelance or contractor in a creative
field, regardless of profession. They have announced a new round
of workshops running in July & August 2006.
The workshop details: Setting up your own business;
Money management, including rates and invoicing procedures;
Tax, covering GST, PAYG and making your creative life a tax deduction;
Legal matters, such as contracts, copyright, moral rights and
defamation;
Marketing, with a special emphasis on word-of-mouth. The new workshops are running:
Saturdays starting 1st July and concluding 15th July from
9:30am to 5pm, in North Sydney.
Evenings, starting Thursday 3rd August and concluding
Thursday 7th September from 6pm to 9pm each night, in Bondi Junction.
Enrolments are limited to 12 places (15 if necessary).
