Krucial
& The Sykick Seeds Sydney Krucial
and the Sykick Seeds is an original three-piece reggae band. Two friends dedicated
to music founded the band in 1995. Kaoshal Anand and Allan Fisk started as two
musicians busking in the main street of Byron Bay, which then turned into a unique
reggae band performing live all over the East coast of Australia. Kaoshal
Anand is a composer and a multi-talented musician. His travels around
America, Jamaica and India in the 1960s to the 1990s has greatly influenced The
Seeds unique style. He learned to play several instruments in the ashrams of India
under the guidance of a guru. Allan
Fisk is a devoted drummer and percussionist. Co-founder of the Psychik Seeds,
Allan studied at the Australian Institute of Music in 1994, after which he moved
to Byron Bay where he met Kaoshal and founded The Psychik
Seeds. His perseverance and devotion to music in the past 10 years led him to
play in many different bands, recording, performing live around Sydney as well
as touring along the East coast of Australia. In
1996, The Seeds disbanded only to reunite in 2001. Now based in Sydney, The Seeds
are perform at the Tea Chest in Nowra, and regularly at the Hollywood Hotel in
Surry Hills. With this new beginning The Seeds are hoping to create a new sound
while still holding true to reggae, which is the basis of their music. The band
is currently working as a three piece with new member Michael Lynch on bass guitar.
They are also progressing towards recuiting new members to enhance our performances
and create a high quality live show. Contact
