Sydney based four piece band Sixties Sensation formed
because of their shared passion for 1960s music. They feel that songs
were generated during that period with an energy and freshness rarely
equalled even with todays high tech productions.
Sixties Sensation repertoire is derived from the Australian,
English and American chart hits from such artists as The Easybeats,
The Who, The Beatles, Dylan, The Searchers, The Rolling Stones, Otis
Redding, Donovan, The Shadows, and more. Styles include Rock and Roll,
Pop, Soul, Rhythm and Blues and Folk. Their three and four part vocal
harmony work make for a standout performance. Their repertoire is wide
enough to hit the right mood for every occasion. Sixties Sensations
give a fresh interpretation and delivery of 60s music. They have a professional
and fun stage presence.
Band members are Alan Harris (vocals and bass), Aldo Cirkovic
(guitar), Chris Venn (lead vocals) and Bruce Hodgess
(drums).
The Sixties Sensation repertoire is regularly expanded
and refined, adapting to all performing situations. The band can meet
the entertainment needs of clubs, corporate functions, private parties,
harbour cruises and more.
