Breakfast PR & Events and
Sydney Turf Club are seeking fashion designers
to design an outfit that represents the quintessential
Australian Race Wear, and in doing so compete
with other Australian Fashion Designers in being
named as the Official Fashion Designer for the
Golden Slipper Festival in 2008. Judging takes
place in the last week of February.
The finalists will be required
to attend the launch of the Golden Slipper Festival
on 3rd of March 2007 at the Roxy Parramatta
with models wearing their designs to partake
in a fashion parade on the night. These finalists
will receive their logos on the invitations
for this event and additional exposure at the
event. A panel of judges will decide which entries
are to go through to the final round.
All finalists will also receive
a Nivea Visage Q10 Gift Pack valued at $30.
The successful finalists will
then attend the Fashion Bar Marquee on Golden
Slipper Day, Saturday March 31st 2007 with a
model wearing their designs. They will be given
a pass to the VIP marquee for them and their
model which is all inclusive and is attended
by 350 corporate / social/VIP’s. (The
model will be required to be fully accessorised
by the designer including hats, shoes, gloves,
jewellery, etc)
A panel of judges including the
celebrity ambassadors, previous Fashions of
the Field winners, last years Fashion Bar winner
Andrea Cainero and a Fashion Editor will then
choose the winner.
You will go into the running to
become the Official Fashion Designer for the
Golden Slipper Festival in 2008 as well as a
fantastic prize package which includes:
- The opportunity to dress the
Ambassador for appearances/photo shoots in relation
to the Golden Slipper Carnival in 2008
- Inclusion in all relevant press material
- $2000 Westfield Gift Card
- 2 x VIP tickets to the following events of
the 2008 Golden Slipper Festival- The Sydney
Confidential Ladies Day, The Fashion Bar Marquee
and The Golden Slipper Ball
- Become an official judge for all fashion events
within the 2008 Golden Slipper Festival
- Profile in Trackside Members Publication in
2007
- A Hamper of Nivea Products and French Champagne
