Splendid is seeking young and emerging artists for two weeks of bending art forms and collaboration to create new works for Splendour in the Grass festival. Open to visual arts, theatre, dance, design, installation, digital media, sound, text, community arts and more.
The program includes a residential Arts Lab, mentorship and opportunities to promote your work to major festival audiences in Australia and internationally. Open to young and emerging artists (under 30 yrs or in first 5 years of their practice).
The Lab will be facilitated by leading local and international artists and provocateurs, guided by a curatorium and supported by specialized production personnel.
Selected cross-art form projects developed in the Lab will be designed to premiere at Splendour in the Grass 2011 and other music festivals.
