We are looking for the next big thing in Australian Music! Are you a talented up and coming singer? Would you love the opportunity to sing in front of hundreds of people and compete for a residency at Sydney’s hottest live music venue?
Piano Room is giving budding singers a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a fabulous new music initiative that offers singers great prizes and a foot in the door into the Australian music industry.
Launching Thursday March 25, Piano Room will be holding the first of four heats over consecutive weeks looking for a new resident singer for the venue. The event, which will be judged by some very special music celebrities and industry personalities, is the perfect opportunity to get yourself and your voice out there.
After the raging success of the first Singer Songwriter Competition held at Piano Room in 2008, the competition is back but with a twist. The Piano Room will this time be looking for pure vocal talent only giving singers the opportunity to sing their favourite songs and win some seriously good prizes and recognition.
Piano Room is looking for both male and female signers with fierce vocal talent and great style. If this is you, send a recording of you singing two songs, a headshot with your name, age, suburb and a brief description of why you would like to be a part of this competition.
