Guild of the Golden Owl is a new Fantasy Art Exhibiton & Competition being held this year as part of LABYRINTH MASQUERADE 2008. This is a huge costumed public event held in the grand and decadent Regal Ballroom in Northcote, created in celebration of the unlimited imagination of fantasy.
We are seeking Artists to submit work for this show. It is a fabulous opportunity to showcase work before hundreds of costumed guests who deeply appreciate the strange and unusual.
The event is on Saturday, 12 July 2008 at the Regal Ballroom, 218 High St Northcote, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

SUBMISSION OF WORK DEADLINE: 1 July 2008
Entry is free, and you can enter as many artworks as you wish. All entries displayed in the exhibition are automatically included in the Fantasy Art Competition, with judging and prizes to be awarded on the night.

Entries should be expressions of outlandish creativity, exploring the themes of magic and mayhem, the supernatural and surreal, the lavishly otherworldly, and the mythic and legendary. We are looking for fantasy-themed artwork in just about every visual medium, such as: Drawing, Painting, Small Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Digital, Ceramics, Mixed-Media and Collage. If you are into something else not mentioned here let us know and we will definitely consider it.
