This year the Albury Art Prize is offering $20,000 for an international residency, attracting visual artists from across Australia. Shortlisted entrants will be exhibited at the Albury Art Gallery, with the winner announced on Friday 27 January 2012.
The Albury Art Prize is one of New South Wales' oldest municipal art awards. Over its 64 year old history, a substantial number of renowned artists such as Noel Counihan, Fred Cress, Robert Jacks, Louis Kahan, Deborah Klein, Daniel Moynihan ad Imants Tiller have been awarded the prize.
