Battle of the Brushes brings together professional Australian makeup artists in our online showcase that will culminate in a live battle in front of industry leaders, decision-makers, peers and publishers. There is no entry fee.
Two entrants from our online showcase who will be selected at random on the day of the battle, will be allowed use of an identical kit, a model each, a brief for an editorial look and 40 minutes on the clock to create a winning look.
The winner will be decided by our judges, Cameron Pine, Editor - INSTYLE Magazine, and Jennie Lewis Teal, Deputy Editor - Professionial Beauty Magazine. If the judges' decision is not mutual, the decider will go to a crowd applause vote.
Battle of the Brushes is open to all makeup artists. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs and the opportunity for your work to be seen by over 110,000 readers.
