ESUQLD Art Award is inviting painters, mixed media, sculptors, photgraphers etc to submit works for inclusion in this years ESUQLD Art Awards, to be exhibited at ESU House in Brisbane from the 19th -26th October.
The English-Speaking Union (ESU) is an international educational charity dedicated to promoting international understanding and human achievement through English. Founded in 1918, the ESU now has branches in 52 countries.
The Headquarters of the English-Speaking Union in Queensland is located at 'ESU House', Cook Terrace, cnr Park Rd & Coronation Dr Milton Brisbane Queensland 4064 Australia.
"Queensland Heritage –our Living History”
As part of our belief that English is expressed in many forms, we are encouraging visual communication through the ESUQLD Art Awards. In 2011 ESUQLD is offering a $5000 Art Award and also an Emerging Artist Bursary for Southbank Institute of Technology to the Value of $2000. In addition, our major sponsor, The Compass Group, is providing a $1500 award.
The Theme for entries for the 2011 Award is "Queensland Heritage –our Living History”.
