Movie Extra's Webfest is an exciting and challenging new initiative from The Movie Network Channel – a competition that offers emerging filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their production skills and join an online community of like minded individuals, passionate about web based mediums and the film and television industry.
In the tradition of Project Greenlight Australia and Movie Extra Tropfest, The Movie Network is offering budding filmmakers the opportunity to create a web series for broadcast on Movie Extra's website www.mnc.tv and to premiere on the Movie Extra Channel in 2011.
Filmmakers will need to submit details of the web series and a short video teaser for a chance to win $50,000 to create their own series.
