Be involved in an exciting new event for the Northern Beaches art scene in Sydney.
The Bodypainting Show will be part music and dance performance, part live interactive art gallery featuring body art created on the day. All paint is supplied, if you require any other ‘stuff’ (feathers, material, accessories etc) please supply these yourself.
You can paint solo or as a team. If you can’t find a ‘canvas’ we can organise one for you. We are encouraging people to be really creative with this. You can use any sort of body (not under 18’s) and they do not have to be nude - a G-string or bikini is recommended.
You are able to paint at the venue from 10am on the day of the event. There will be some refreshments supplied, music playing and a good atmosphere in which to paint.
This is about having FUN with the body painting medium! And meeting other artists, and contributing to something and having your art seen by a new group of interested people.
There will be a professional photographer documenting the show. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your art seen by members of the hospitality, entertainment and surfing industries who are always looking for new ideas.
You are welcome to speak about the bodypainting experience as the art is shown on stage. Any messages or intentions you may want to verbally communicate would be very welcome. We also encourage audience interaction.
