The Winter Family Regional Arts Incentive is open to all regional Queensland artists and photographers who will be aged 32 years or less as at December 30th 2008.
$2500 first prize consisting of $1500 aquisitive, and over $1000 in travel & accomodation.

The Winter Family Regional Arts Incentive is an art prize conceived and funded by professional artist and businessman Craig Winter to encourage young emerging Queensland visual artists to earn a living from their creativity.
The Incentive will provide basic business resourcing to the winner each year through professional consultations provided by leading accountants and artists, as well as ongoing marketing support and advice.
The winner will receive:
- Acquisitive cash prize to the value of $1500
- Professional 2 hour consultation with a leading advisor from ULTONS CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS (Maryborough) with specific advice for artists.
- Workshop with a leading professional artist including direction on gallery liaison, professional image, materials and presentation.
- Marketing workshop with ARTXDESIGN CREATIVE STUDIOS including advice on future marketing, how to increase the value of their work and selling to a wider audience, as well as a set of 2000 custom designed DL promotional flyers and business cards.
- Travel expenses and accommodation for 2 nights at MANTRA Hervey Bay for two.
- Fraser Island 2 day safari for two with THE FRASER ISLAND COMPANY. There will be many opportunities to photograph or sketch the world's largest sand island, rainforests, lagoons, bush, shipwrecks and beaches.
- Digital Camera package to record their trip.
