Jalia studied Communication Design at RMIT and Illustration at NMIT and currently works as a freelance illustrator and designer in Melbourne.

Jalia has a detailed style and is skilled in the use of coloured pencil, watercolour, acrylic, and oils. She particularly has a passion for creating fashion illustrations and realism portraits in soft pastels. She captures an emotion and uses rich, vibrant colours in her pictures.

Jalia has participated in joint exhibitions at Chapel Off Chapel and her latest will be a joint exhibition this November 2008 at Katrina Manton Gallery VIC.
