I have been sketching and drawing since I can remember, probably like most children since they could first  hold a pen. However,when I was seventeen I began to take art more seriously, and began to take art classes in painting and drawing at the National Art School during the evenings .I completed the first year of a Bachelor of Arts course at the same school. I later went on to the Meadowbank Gallery school where I completed another two years of a certificate course.

I am influenced and draw my inspiration from artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, El Greco, Picasso, Matisse, Michael Angelo and Leonardo DaVinci to name but a few.

I also draw my inspiration for my paintings from classical Greek art from ceramics, sculptures, architecture Greek Mythology and Literature such as Homers Epic the 'Odyssey'.

Artists Statement:
I believe a great work of art or even a good painting,sculpture,photograph or whatever has the ability to transport the viewer momentarily in time to another dimension or to another world. This is what I try to convey with most of my work or to at least evoke some sort of feeling hopefully a more positive one.
