Julie Sutherland
Painter (Perth, WA)

Born in 1971 in South Perth, W.A and currently based in Bullsbrook W.A, Julie trained as a Wool classer, Carer and Teacher Assistant. WoolcClassing gave Julie a chance to work and travel to the outback and coastal areas of Western Australia, South Australia and New Zealand. This has been an influence in her paintings with her seascapes, landscapes, animal artwork and interesting people she has met along the way. Julie works with acrylic paints, oil paints, pastels, photography and mixed media.

Artists Statement
My sheep paintings are created to show that sheep do look different and they do have different personalities. As you may of heard an old saying “That sheep all look the same”.
