is a true blue Aussie bushman who began singing and writing country music at a
young age, winning his first talent quest at twelve years old. In
1977 Kerry wrote and recorded a song about the great pacer Paleface Adios, and
performed it live on pay television in 2002. Between 1999 and 2001, he competed
in the worlds richest singing competition at the Marrickville RSL Club, making
the semi finals each year. Out of 2000 entrants he was placed into the final 12
each time. Kerry
has performed with some of the best country singers in Australia, including Gordon
(The Pub with No Beer) Parsons, Lee Kernaghan, The Wolverines and many more.
Kerry
has performed and won awards at The Tamworth Country & Western Music Festival,
The

compositions. 'The Singing Hodge Family' won best group in Tamworth with the
song 'Amazing Grace'.
Kerry
held a residency at the Mandurama Hotel (NSW) for 2 months in 2003, where the
publician recognised his talents and financed Kerry to purchase equipment
in order that
he could continue to perform live and record CD's.
Kerry
can be regularly found busking around Sydney, performing his umbrella balancing
act while playing his guitar. A street performer through and through, Kerry
is always ready with an Aussie quip and joke.
