Kim has a very colourful background, having grown up in the gorgeous city of Brisbane. In the late 80's her first job was working in the Kitchenware Dept of the local David Jones store and from there her passion for all things of a Home Wares nature began.

Collecting all kinds of items from Mexican Glassware to Royal Doulton figurines became a full time hobby, until she got married and had children. As family commitments grew and time was less, Kim slowly put her passion for all things colourfull aside and concentrated on her growing family. That was until about 2 years ago when she suddenly became involved with all kinds of new generation ideas.

Online Auctions were her first addiction, seeing what others were doing and what they were selling, started her off on a whole new journey, a journey into the unknown until a few months after when she decided to start making Fabric Wall Art. She made one piece, then another and so on until it became apparent that there was no more space in her house to keep these Funky Wall Hangings, so she had to start selling them and that is how Kim T Designs was born. A married mother of two kids who just simply got addicted to making Fabric Wall Art and still loves doing it now and will for the rest of her life.
