Leni Kae
Painter (Sydney, NSW)
The child of a master mathematician, Leni Kae (dip Colour Therapy) naturally discovered the unbreakable link between art and science. The Australian artist and trained colour therapist integrates an eye for design with colour psychology to produce works with powerful subconscious and sensual triggers.
“Each work integrates concepts of Freudian psychology and the Ancient practice of colour therapy (with its ability to trigger hormonal & subconscious response), to highlight the uniting elements of our human existence – emotion, dream, memory, and the senses." - Leni Kae
A May St Studio artist, Leni Kae has exhibited both locally and internationally in New York, at the Florence Biennale 2009, and most recently at The Brick Lane Gallery London UK. Leni also recently featured in The Australian Natural Health Magazine (January issue) where she was asked to comment on colour psychology and its application in the arts for interior design.
