Designer Natalie James
completed a Diploma of Fashion Design from the Sydney Institute of
Technology (East Sydney)
in 1999. She was awarded State Highly Commended and Regional Winner
for the TEA Design Competition 1997 and her Major Design Project was
selected and exhibited in The Powerhouse Museum DESIGNTECH’97.
Natalie has accumulated six years of professional
fashion design / fashion wholesale and costume design experience
both here in Australia and
overseas, with such labels including ‘Arrogant Cat’ London, ‘De
Cjuba’ Australia, ‘Sportsgirl’ Australia and ‘Mischief
Costumes’ Australia.
The ‘Natalie James’ label is elegant,
with an eclectic mix of contemporary style along with a fresh, avante
garde edge.
